Dennis Shaw (Dennis Wendell Shaw) was born on March 3, 1947 in Los Angeles, California. After going to high school at Catholic (Pomona, CA) and Damien (LaVerne, CA), Shaw attended Mount San Antonio College, San Diego State University and the University of Southern California. Shaw made his professional debut in the NFL in 1970 with the Buffalo Bills. He played for the Buffalo Bills and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that 1970 was Dennis Shaw's best year, as he threw for 2507 yards and tossed 10 TDs.
