Dennis Patera (Dennis Allen Patera) was born on October 17, 1945 in Portland, Oregon. After going to high school at Cleveland (Porland, OR), Patera attended Brigham Young University and Columbia Basin JC. Patera made his professional debut in the NFL in 1968 with the San Francisco 49ers. He played for the San Francisco 49ers for his entire 1 year career.
