Born on February 26, 1952 in Toledo, Ohio, Dennis Kinney (Dennis Paul Kinney) played for the San Diego Padres, Cleveland Indians, Detroit Tigers and Oakland Athletics over the course of his 5 year career. Kinney broke into the bigs on April 9, 1978 with the San Diego Padres, and put up a 4.25 ERA in 82.2 innings pitched in 1980, his rookie year.
