Del Young (Delmer John Young) was born on October 24, 1885 in Macon, Missouri. He made his Major League debut on September 24, 1909 for the Cincinnati Reds. In 1914, his rookie year, he hit .276 with 4 home runs and 22 RBI. Young played for the Cincinnati Reds and Buffalo Blues over the course of his 3 year career.
