Born on September 21, 1899 in Lindsborg, Kansas, Del Lundgren (Ebin Delmer Lundgren) played for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 3 year career. Lundgren broke into the bigs on April 27, 1924 with the Pittsburgh Pirates, and put up a 6.27 ERA in 136.1 innings pitched in 1927, his rookie year.
