Del Baker (Delmer David Baker) was born on May 3, 1892 in Sherwood, Oregon. He made his Major League debut on April 16, 1914 for the Detroit Tigers. In 1915, his rookie year, he hit .246 with 0 home runs and 15 RBI. Baker played for the Detroit Tigers for his entire 3 year career.
