Dee Phillips

Dee Phillips (Damon Roswell Phillips) was born on June 8, 1919 in Corsicana, Texas. He made his Major League debut on July 19, 1942 for the Cincinnati Reds. In 1944, his rookie year, he hit .258 with 1 home run and 53 RBI. Phillips played for the Cincinnati Reds and Boston Braves over the course of his 2 year career.
