Dee Moore (D C Moore) was born on April 6, 1914 in Hedley, Texas. He made his Major League debut on September 12, 1936 for the Cincinnati Reds. In 1943, his rookie year, he hit .245 with 1 home run and 20 RBI. Moore played for the Cincinnati Reds, Philadelphia Phillies and Brooklyn Dodgers over the course of his 4 year career.
