Dee Miles (Wilson Daniel Miles) was born on February 15, 1909 in Kellerman, Alabama. He made his Major League debut on July 7, 1935 for the Washington Senators. In 1935, his rookie year, he hit .265 with 0 home runs and 29 RBI. Miles played for the Washington Senators, Philadelphia Athletics and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 7 year career.
Most people believe that Dee Miles's best season was 1939, when he hit for a .300 average.
