Dee Mackey

Dee Mackey (Dee Elbert Mackey) was born on October 16, 1934 in Gilmer, Texas. After going to high school at Union Grove ?*, Mackey attended Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University-Commerce. Mackey made his professional debut in the NFL in 1960 with the San Francisco 49ers. He played in the NFL for 3 years, playing for the Baltimore Colts and San Francisco 49ers over the course of his 3 year NFL career.Mackey also played in the AFL for 3 years, playing for the New York Jets the entire time.
Most people believe that 1962 was Dee Mackey's best year, as he caught 4 TD passes.
