Dee Dee Hoggard (William Benjamin Hoggard) was born on May 7, 1961 in Windsor, North Carolina. After going to high school at Bertie (Windsor, NC), Hoggard attended North Carolina State University. Hoggard made his professional debut in the NFL in 1985 with the Cleveland Browns. He played for the Cleveland Browns for his entire 3 year career.
