Dedric Ward (Dedric Lamar Ward) was born on September 29, 1974 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. After going to high school at Washington (Cedar Rapids, IA), Ward attended the University of Northern Iowa. Ward made his professional debut in the NFL in 1997 with the New York Jets. He played for the New York Jets, Miami Dolphins, Dallas Cowboys and New England Patriots over the course of his 8 year career.
Most people believe that 2000 was Dedric Ward's best year, as he hauled in 54 receptions and had 801 receiving yards.
