Dear Santa, All I want in the sports world this Christmas. . . .

Dear Santa, All I want is to see a Philly sports team win a championship. You know, it has been nearly 24 years since the last Philly team has won. Thank you.

Dear Santa, I would like it if Kenny Lofton, the current stolen bases leader in MLB, could win a World Series ring before he retires in the near future.

I would like a Bears Super Bowl, A Cubs World Series Championship, and a Friars NCAA Championship. But let's start off small. How about Friars win in the first round of the tournament or for the Bears not to get blown out at home in the second round after their bye week.

Dear Santa, I would like the 2007 baseball season to go by without the mention of steriods, and for the rightful owner of the career homerun record not have his name or record tarnished any further by having it mentioned in the same sentence with cheaters.

I want to see Brett Favre play for Green Bay next year, England to win the Cricket & Rugby World Cups, and the Red Wings to win the Stanley Cup. I would like to see a great F1 championship battle between as many drivers as possible. I'll settle for only one of those 5!

Dear Santa...

I have been a good boy this year. My wishes are for Alex Rodriguez to be successful in the clutch (especially against the Mets and the Red Sox), the Giants to clean out the dildocks who ruined the season for me this year (you guys know who you are), and the US to reclaim its premiere status in interntional sports competition. I know these wishes ae pretty much longshots, but I'd be happy if at least one was granted.

Dear Santa, In the name of all that is sports, please, just once let my Cubs get back to and win the world series in my life time. You gave one to the Red Sox nation and now please let us have our chance. We cub fans have more loyalty and dedication then most pro organizations could dream about. We have weathered it all, from Bartman to the Goat, from 69, to 84 and Smith/Durham, no other team has faced such a championship drought as our beloved cubs.

So I ask you, from one cubs fan to another lets make this years spending spree mean something and get us back to a world series. And on a side note, could a healthy mark prior be my stocking stuffer?

Dear Santa-man, I'd really like to see more Field Hockey and Indoor Hockey on Free to Air in Australia. As Australia is very successful in one of the Worlds TOP 15 sports, it would only be fitting. Cheers Happy Dude!!
