Dean Steinkuhler (Dean Elmer Steinkuhler) was born on January 27, 1961 in Burr, Nebraska. After going to high school at Sterling (NE), Steinkuhler attended the University of Nebraska. Steinkuhler made his professional debut in the NFL in 1984 with the Houston Oilers. He played for the Houston Oilers for his entire 7 year career.
