Dean Hamel (Dean Hamel) was born on July 7, 1961 in Detroit, Michigan. After going to high school at Mott (Warren, MI), Hamel attended Coffeyville CC and the University of Tulsa. Hamel made his professional debut in the NFL in 1985 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that 1985 was Dean Hamel's best year, as he recorded 6 sacks.
