Dean Barnett (Donald Dean Barnett) was born on June 6, 1957 in Long Beach, California. After going to high school at Lowell (San Francisco, CA), Barnett attended Fullerton College and the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. Barnett made his professional debut in the NFL in 1983 with the Denver Broncos. He played for the Denver Broncos for his entire 1 year career.
