Deacon Turner

Deacon Turner (David Turner) was born on January 2, 1955 in Jackson, Mississippi. After going to high school at Shafter (CA), Turner attended Bakersfield JC and San Diego State University. Turner made his professional debut in the NFL in 1978 with the Cincinnati Bengals. He played for the Cincinnati Bengals for his entire 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1979 was Deacon Turner's best year, as he had 1149 kick return yards.
