Born on March 12, 1979 in Anchorage, Alaska, David Williams (David Aaron Williams) played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, New York Mets and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 5 year career. Williams broke into the bigs on June 6, 2001 with the Pittsburgh Pirates, and put up a 3.71 ERA in 114 innings pitched in 2001, his rookie year.

Most people believe that David Williams's best season was 2005, when he posted a 4.41 ERA, won 10 games and struck out 88 batters.
