Born on September 25, 1969 in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, David Weathers (John David Weathers) played for the Toronto Blue Jays, Florida Marlins, New York Yankees, Cleveland Indians, Milwaukee Brewers, Cincinnati Reds, Chicago Cubs, New York Mets and Houston Astros over the course of his 16 year career. Weathers broke into the bigs on August 2, 1991 with the Toronto Blue Jays, and put up a 5.27 ERA in 135 innings pitched in 1994, his rookie year.

Most people believe that David Weathers's best season was 2005, when he posted a 3.94 ERA, notched 15 saves and struck out 61 batters.
