David Wayne Johnson

Born on October 24, 1959 in Baltimore, Maryland, Dave Johnson (David Wayne Johnson) played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Baltimore Orioles and Detroit Tigers over the course of his 5 year career. Johnson broke into the bigs on May 29, 1987 with the Pittsburgh Pirates, and put up a 4.23 ERA in 89.1 innings pitched in 1989, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Dave Johnson's best season was 1990, when he posted a 4.10 ERA, won 13 games and struck out 68 batters.
