David Mims (David James Mims) was born on July 7, 1970 in Daingerfield, Texas. After going to high school at Daingerfield (TX), Mims attended Baylor University. Mims made his professional debut in the NFL in 1993 with the Atlanta Falcons. He played for the Atlanta Falcons for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1993 was David Mims's best year.
