David Lee (David Allen Lee) was born on November 8, 1943 in Shreveport, Louisiana. After going to high school at Minden (LA), Lee attended Louisiana Institute of Technology. Lee made his professional debut in the NFL in 1966 with the Baltimore Colts. He played for the Baltimore Colts for his entire 13 year career.

Most people believe that 1978 was David Lee's best year, as he dropped 17 punts inside the 20.
