David Hughes (David A. Hughes) was born on June 1, 1959 in Honolulu, Hawaii. After going to high school at Kamehameha (Pearl City, HI), Hughes attended Boise State University. Hughes made his professional debut in the NFL in 1981 with the Seattle Seahawks. He played for the Seattle Seahawks and Pittsburgh Steelers over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that 1984 was David Hughes's best year.
