David Griggs (David Wesley Griggs) was born on February 5, 1967 in Camden, New Jersey. After going to high school at Pennsauken (NJ), Griggs attended the University of Virginia. Griggs made his professional debut in the NFL in 1989 with the Miami Dolphins. He played for the Miami Dolphins and San Diego Chargers over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that 1990 was David Griggs's best year, as he recorded 5.5 sacks.
