David Green (David Alejandro (Casaya) Green) was born on December 4, 1960 in Managua, Nicaragua. He made his Major League debut on September 4, 1981 for the St. Louis Cardinals. In 1982, his rookie year, he hit .283 with 2 home runs and 23 RBI. Green played for the St. Louis Cardinals and San Francisco Giants over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that David Green's best season was 1983, when he stole 34 bases, hit for a .284 average and knocked in 69 runs.
