Released by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in June following training camp Signed by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in March...dressed for all 18 games as the third string quarterback...appeared in 5 games completing 59.4% of passes for 212 yards and 1 TD pass while rushing for 32 yards and 2 TDs...showed great poise in relief appearance vs. the BC Lions on 10/18/03. College A four-year starter he broke nearly every passing record at the College of William & Mary. He started 42 consecutive games, the most by a quarterback in school history..holds 27 school records…finished his Senior season among the top 14 players for the Walter Payton Award voting...earned Second Team All Conference (Atlantic 10) honors...broke the school’s career record for passing yards and touchdowns...ended the season second in the conference in both passing yards per game (242.9) and total offense per game (252.6)...had a career best 61% completion percentage...his pass efficiency rating of 144.6 ranked first in the A10 and 14th nationally...despite having gained a total of 403 yards rushing on the season, he finished with a net of just 102 yards because he was sacked 40 times (for 301 yards)...his 326 yard afternoon vs. Delaware not only broke the school record for passing yards, it marked the sixth time in his career he went over the 300 yard passing mark. Started all 12 games at quarterback...led the Tribe to a share of the Conference Crown and a birth in the 1AA play-offs for the first time since 1996...guided the Tribe to an average of better than 417 yards and 30 points per game…threw for 2,808 yards (179-311) which was good for the sixth best single season in W&M history. Followed up Freshman campaign with another solid season…started all 11 games...completed 56.7 per cent of his passes and finished with a passing efficiency of 133.67...threw for 2,565 yards, which was good for the ninth highest single season total in school history, and 13 TDs….Set school record with 426 yards passing in a Homecoming win against Northeastern. Played in all 11 games at quarterback, starting the last eight...named Atlantic 10 Conference Rookie of the Year...became the first freshman QB to lead the Atlantic 10 Conference in passing efficiency with a 141.3 rating...set school Freshman record for TD passes (18) while only throwing 9 interceptions...accounted for a Freshman record 23 TDs (18 passing, 4 rushing, 1 receiving)...diverse talents were seen in College’s 37-13 win over Maine, where he scored a rushing TD, threw for two scores and caught a TD pass (44 yards), becoming the first quarterback in school history to run, catch and throw for a touchdown in the same game. Personal Hobbies and interests include coaching (which he does in the off season at a local high school) music, working with children...has a younger brother, Kevin, who plays football at South Carolina State University.
