David Clyde

Born on April 22, 1955 in Kansas City, Kansas, David Clyde (David Eugene Clyde) played for the Texas Rangers and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 5 year career. Clyde broke into the bigs on June 27, 1973 with the Texas Rangers, and put up a 5.01 ERA in 93.1 innings pitched in 1973, his rookie year.
Most people believe that David Clyde's best season was 1978, when he posted a 4.28 ERA and struck out 83 batters.
