Born on October 4, 1948 in Abilene, Texas, Dave Johnson (David Charles Johnson) played for the Baltimore Orioles and Minnesota Twins over the course of his 4 year career. Johnson broke into the bigs on July 2, 1974 with the Baltimore Orioles, and put up a 4.58 ERA in 72.2 innings pitched in 1977, his rookie year.
