David Beverly (David Edward Beverly) was born on August 19, 1950 in Selma, Alabama. After going to high school at Sweetwater (AL), Beverly attended Auburn University. Beverly made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the Houston Oilers. He played for the Green Bay Packers and Houston Oilers over the course of his 7 year career.
Most people believe that 1978 was David Beverly's best year, as he dropped 20 punts inside the 20.
