Signed by Calgary as a free agent on May 17, 2006.

2005

Started the season with the Jacksonville Jaguars...released during training camp...played his first regular season CFL game as a Calgary Stampeders on October 14, 2005 against Hamilton...where he would record one reception for a 10 yard touchdown...had a big game on October 30 vs Winnipeg where he recorded four kickoff returns for 86 yards, four punt returns for 46 yards, seven carries on the ground for 46 yards and two receptions for 30 yards for a combined 208 yards.

2004

Played 5 games with the Jacksonville Jaguars recording 11 kick returns for 210 yards, 19.1 yard average with his longest being 25 yards...returned 15 punts for 144 yards, 9.6 average and a long of 32 yards...also recorded 2 catches for 8 yards.

2003

Appeared in 14 games with Jacksonville after taking over for the injured Jermaine Lewis in week three...finished the season ranked fourth in AFC in punt returns with a 12.0 average and 15th in kickoff returns with a 20.3 average...broke the team’s single season record for kickoff return yardage with 831 yards on 41 attempts...in 1st NFL game and Jaguars debut at Indianapolis Sept. 21, had 1 PR for 0 yards and 2 KORs for 84 yards, including 61 yarder in 4th quarter that set up the team’s only TD...caught 3 passes for 20 yards, including 5-yard TD pass from Byron Leftwich for 1st NFL touchdown Nov. 12 at Baltimore…also returned 2 punts for 5 yards (2 FC) and 5 kickoffs for 94 yards (29 long)...totalled 119 all purpose yards… Returned 2 punts for 41 yards (1 FC), including season best 27 yarder with 1:28 remaining to set up game winning TD Nov. 9 vs. Indianapolis...returned 2 punts for 67 yards (and 3 FC) Nov. 23 at N.Y. Jets...returns included a 52 yarder that is tied for 5th longest in team history...also returned 4 kickoffs for 74 yards (25 long)...broke team’s single-season records for KORs, topping 33 by Shyrone Stith in 2000…also rushed 1 time for 5 yards and caught 1 pass for 6 yards.

2002

Had two stints on Jacksonville Jaguars’ practice squad during the regular season...signed to Jaguars’ practice squad on Nov. 5 and released Nov. 12...resigned to practice squad on Dec. 17 for final two weeks...spent preseason with Minnesota Vikings but waived on Sept. 1 (had been signed on March 27).

2001

Spent training camp with San Francisco 49ers but waived on Aug. 30...out of football in the fall...signed by 49ers as an undrafted rookie on April 27.

College

Four-year starter as a record setting kick returner...returned punts for 1,646 yards and seven touchdowns during his career, setting a school and Big 12 record...ranks second in NCAA history for career punt return yards…in 1998, become the only player in college football to return punts for touchdowns in three-straight games and to twice return punts for touchdowns in back to back games...rushed for 783 yards on 168 carries with eight touchdowns during his career...also caught 12 passes for 142 yards with two TDs and returned 10 kickoffs for 269 yards…sidelined with an ankle injury for four games as a senior in 1998 when he started three of nine games...selected All America first team by America Football Coaches Association and second team from The Sporting News as a junior...finalist for Mosi Tatupu Award, given annually to the nation’s top special teams player...first team All Big 12 and earned Big 12 Player of the Week honors twicel...as a sophomore, named first team All America by Football Writers Association and The Sporting News and first team All Big 12...single season records for punt return yardage...scored four TDs on punt returns, breaking school and conference records...played in 10 games as a freshman mostly on special teams...returned 20 punts for 403 yards and a TD, ranking second in Big 12 and 16th in nation…Redshirted as a true freshman in 1994...majored in social science.

Personal

Attended Liberty (MO.) High School, where he rushed for 1471 yards and 19 touchdowns as a senior while earning All America honors..first team All Conference at running back and defensive back as a junior and senior..once gained 287 yards on 18 carries and scored six touchdowns in a game..All Conference centerfielder in baseball.
