Davey Williams (David Carlous Williams) was born on November 2, 1927 in Dallas, Texas. He made his Major League debut on September 16, 1949 for the New York Giants. In 1952, his rookie year, he hit .254 with 13 home runs and 55 RBI. Williams played for the New York Giants for his entire 6 year career.

Most people believe that Davey Williams's best season was 1952, when he knocked in 55 runs.
