Dave Young (David J. Young) was born on February 9, 1959 in Akron, Ohio. After going to high school at East (Akron, OH), Young attended Purdue University. Young made his professional debut in the NFL in 1981 with the New York Giants. He played for the Indianapolis Colts, Baltimore Colts and New York Giants over the course of his 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1984 was Dave Young's best year.
