Dave Tobey (David Morgan Tobey) was born on March 17, 1943 in Portland, Oregon. After going to high school at South (Eugene, OR), Tobey attended the University of Oregon. Tobey made his professional debut in the NFL in 1966 with the Minnesota Vikings. He played in the NFL for 2 years, playing for the Minnesota Vikings the entire time. Tobey also played in the AFL for 1 year, playing for the Denver Broncos the entire time.
