Born on November 11, 1966 in Middletown, New York, Dave Telgheder (David William Telgheder) played for the New York Mets and Oakland Athletics over the course of his 6 year career. Telgheder broke into the bigs on June 12, 1993 with the New York Mets, and put up a 4.76 ERA in 75.2 innings pitched in 1993, his rookie year.
