Dave Strickland (David G. Strickland) was born on June 13, 1931 in Holly Springs, Mississippi. After going to high school at Holly Springs (MS), Strickland attended Northeast Mississippi Community College and the University of Memphis. Strickland made his professional debut in the AFL in 1960 with the Denver Broncos. He played for the Denver Broncos for his entire 1 year career.
