Born on March 4, 1970 in Fullerton, California, Dave Stevens (David James Stevens) played for the Minnesota Twins, Chicago Cubs, Cleveland Indians and Atlanta Braves over the course of his 7 year career. Stevens broke into the bigs on May 20, 1994 with the Minnesota Twins, and put up a 5.07 ERA in 65.2 innings pitched in 1995, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Dave Stevens's best season was 1995, when he notched 10 saves.
