Dave Smigelsky (David William Smigelsky) was born on July 3, 1959 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. After going to high school at North Hunterdon (Annandale, NJ), Smigelsky attended Virginia Polytechnic Institute. Smigelsky made his professional debut in the NFL in 1982 with the Atlanta Falcons. He played for the Atlanta Falcons for his entire 1 year career.
