Dave Simonson (David Arnold Simonson) was born on May 2, 1952 in Austin, Minnesota. After going to high school at Central (Austin, MN), Simonson attended the University of Minnesota. Simonson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the Baltimore Colts. He played for the Detroit Lions, Seattle Seahawks, New York Giants and Baltimore Colts over the course of his 4 year career.
