Dave Rowe (David Homeyer Rowe) was born on June 20, 1945 in Neptune, New Jersey. After going to high school at Depford (NJ), Rowe attended Pennsylvania State University. Rowe made his professional debut in the NFL in 1967 with the New Orleans Saints. He played for the New Orleans Saints, Oakland Raiders, New England Patriots and San Diego Chargers over the course of his 12 year career.

Most people believe that 1968 was Dave Rowe's best year.
