Dave Ribble (Laran Thomas Ribble) was born on March 28, 1907 in Brownwood, Texas. Ribble attended Hardin-Simmons University. Ribble made his professional debut in the NFL in 1932 with the Portsmouth Spartans. He played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Chicago Cardinals and Portsmouth Spartans over the course of his 4 year career.
