Dave Pierson (David P. Pierson) was born on August 20, 1855 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on April 25, 1876 for the Cincinnati Reds. In 1876, his rookie year, he hit .236 with 0 home runs and 13 RBI. Pierson played for the Cincinnati Reds for his entire 1 year career.
