Dave Pear (David Louis Pear) was born on June 1, 1953 in Vancouver, Washington. After going to high school at Benson (Portland, OR), Pear attended the University of Washington. Pear made his professional debut in the NFL in 1975 with the Baltimore Colts. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Oakland Raiders and Baltimore Colts over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that 1977 was Dave Pear's best year.
