Dave Parkin (David Rodney Parkin) was born on January 7, 1956 in Salt Lake City, Utah. After going to high school at Highland (Salt Lake City, UT), Parkin attended Utah State University. Parkin made his professional debut in the NFL in 1979 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 1 year career.
