Dave Meier (David Keith Meier) was born on August 8, 1959 in Helena, Montana. He made his Major League debut on April 3, 1984 for the Minnesota Twins. In 1984, his rookie year, he hit .238 with 0 home runs and 13 RBI. Meier played for the Minnesota Twins, Texas Rangers and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 4 year career.
