Dave Meggyesy (David Michael Meggyesy) was born on November 1, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio. After going to high school at Solon (OH), Meggyesy attended Syracuse University. Meggyesy made his professional debut in the NFL in 1963 with the St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the St. Louis Cardinals for his entire 7 year career.

Most people believe that 1967 was Dave Meggyesy's best year.
