Dave Marshall (David Lewis Marshall) was born on January 14, 1943 in Artesia, California. He made his Major League debut on September 7, 1967 for the San Francisco Giants. In 1968, his rookie year, he hit .264 with 1 home run and 16 RBI. Marshall played for the San Francisco Giants, New York Mets and San Diego Padres over the course of his 6 year career.
