Dave LaCrosse (David Joseph LaCrosse) was born on December 22, 1955 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Archbishop Kennedy (Conshohocken, PA), LaCrosse attended Wake Forest University. LaCrosse made his professional debut in the NFL in 1977 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 1 year career.
