Dave Jones (David R. Jones) was born on August 10, 1947 in Goodland, Kansas. After going to high school at Sherman (Goodland, KS), Jones attended Kansas State University. Jones made his professional debut in the NFL in 1969 with the Cleveland Browns. He played for the Cleveland Browns for his entire 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1971 was Dave Jones's best year.
