Dave Jolly

Born on October 14, 1924 in Stony Point, North Carolina, Dave Jolly (David Jolly) played for the Milwaukee Braves for his entire 5 year career. Jolly broke into the bigs on May 9, 1953 with the Milwaukee Braves, and put up a 2.43 ERA in 111.1 innings pitched in 1954, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Dave Jolly's best season was 1954, when he posted a 2.43 ERA, won 11 games, notched 10 saves and struck out 62 batters.
