Dave Hoffmann (David Paul Hoffmann) was born on July 24, 1970 in San Luis Obispo, California. After going to high school at Pioneer (San Jose, CA), Hoffmann attended the University of Washington. Hoffmann made his professional debut in the NFL in 1993 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 1 year career.
